in my theatre, we sometimes have jazz (its called jazz but its actually just everything combined except for ballet and modern dance) and when we were preoaring the new year gala, every rehearsal was just reblocking. every single time. the worst part? reblocking not because of the number of dancers but because of not knowing exactly whos gonna dance. dancer A was supposed to dance but then they took A out, put B on place of A (B had another place) then put C (wasnt here before) on place of A. We did that EVERY SINGLE REHEARSAL. on the day of performance we found out that its wasnt cleaned so a sub had to clean cuz the teacher was sick. amazing, i will never forget it 🥰😭

Similar but also different. So basically we had 3 girls on my drill team, team up and get our coach fired, then also quit a day after that….. mind you, we had a comp 3 days after this all happened.

We had to reblock a dance right before the comp because 1 person dropped out last minute and we had to reblock like 4 dances and learn new parts of the dance

😭We started the dance and then somene joined our company so we added them then somene quit but we couldnt just put the new person in there spot bc they already new there choreography then we respaced then another person left like a little before the show
