One thing that one of my friends noticed last time we watched this movie together, how the woman she was looking at looks significantly more like Louis than Lestat. It doesn't give away much, but her saying she wants to be like the woman (plus her deliberately walking away from Lestat to be at Louis's side instead) gives the opportunity for that to be something if that makes sense :(
