@lili_yavorski: The philtrum (the space between the nose and the upper lip) can look longer for a few reasons - it’s usually not just one thing, but a mix of changes in the tissues and muscle tone. 1. With age: • collagen and elastin decrease • tissues lose firmness • the skin starts to sag down 2. The lip muscle gets weaker: • the upper lip drops slightly • there is less support from above 👉 the philtrum looks longer 3. Tension and posture If you have: • neck tension • a forward head position • a tight jaw 👉 the tissues are pulled downward and the shape of the lips changes The exercises I show do the opposite , they release tension and restore tone. But on social media you can find anything. Right now the trend is to show something “different.” So be careful with what you follow.
