i love the negative reaction to service work prices 😅. people need to plug into reality. a skilled technician isn’t going to drive a fully stocked service van and perform quality work for bargain prices. the knowledge required to do this work makes his labor worth every penny. plus the fact that he’s got set prices and rates shows they put thought into what they’re worth- as well as guarantees nobody is randomly paying more or less for the same work. there’s a demand for it and integrity behind the pricing.

Retired locksmith here, people knock residential work, they don’t like dealing with customers. You have the right attitude, charge what you need to make a profit but don’t gouge people and give them a break whenever possible. Some days are better than others but they are never the same day twice. Makes for an interesting work experience. Keep at it young man ! 😁

Oh last thing, pay no mind to the ones that comment stating that your prices seem high. They obviously have no idea what parts cost these days along with your overhead. Repair centers that do not do house calls are always usually more expensive anyway.
