I’ve done it before where the last rock field at the top turned into a full on blizzard. Like, it woulda been appropriate to have put on crampons. Mailbox can get spicy.

What time did you leave? Lol an hour and a half til the sunset? I always leave really early if I go hiking like 7am depends on how long to my destination. But I’d recommend leaving early if you go hiking. So you don’t have to rush to hike.
