all this for YouTube music? bruh. most of those files are like worse than playing Spotify's regular (not the new lossless which is still a joke at best 16/44) codec over a pair of Bluetooth airpods..... get ideally Qobuz (sound quality is 1.5x-ish better than tidal, look it up if you don't believe me or better yet just AB test some songs, I recommend Iris by Goo Goo Dolls. you'll see even tidal streaming is WAYYY behind Qobuz). but if it's not available in your region tidal *works* but please please get qobuz if you can. but god YouTube music with a full on audiophile gear setup? my G you can barely hear what the song is trying to sound like by using it.... this is coming from someone who was using YouTube music for a while myself. please at least get the free trial if it's possible and listen to Q like that. if not then tidal like I said. but if you have a real audio setup and don't use one if those 2 and are streaming music it's literally just performative... also, get UAPP (USB Audio Player Pro) so your Android (can't tell if u got apple or not) doesn't resample everything to 48khz (idk why but almost all androids do this) and you ACTUALLY get bit-perfect quality and also a better audio driver in general, it has qobuz and tidal integration so you can use those WITHIN the app. also lots of other cool features like PEQ and so so many audio tweaks regular android doesn't have, hardware volume control and wayyyy more. please trust me. coming from someone decades in the hobby currently with 8 IEMs and 3 headphones worth I don't even wanna admit how much cause wallet hurting. I just feel bad knowing how much you're limiting what you could be hearing instead. much love 🥰🥰 DM if you got questions

people are so quick to bash on youtube music because they feel like their flac files giving 5% extra "objective" quality is the killer deal, however they fail to realize that the youtube music library is so large to the point where some artists are only uploading music over to that platform. I can name plenty of artists i listen to where they only to upload to youtube and not other platforms (and vice versa as well but I have soundcloud for that in case)
