I've planted 18, 2 years ago and there is one stubborn one that just has 2 leafy stems and won't bloom. All the others around it thrive and have a lot of shoots and flower buds.

We found the best tip for flowers was to leave it for as long as possible in the autumn before cutting it back. Looks awful but it gives it so much energy for next year

I never cut mine back and it’s 3 years old in a pot… it’s been fed with pellets and liquid and still not a bud! It hates me at this point 😂
