I wonder if the robots will have their own tax brackets 🤔

Again like, I think this is a very surefire way to get sentience, but I still don’t think we should underestimate systems of LLM’s and complex agents. I think continual development and constant activity is more important to sentience than just how close the architecture is to biology. I also think that we should assume such a human centric perspective, sentience and consciousness are the result of material things, so it’s ignorant to assume that our sentience and consciousness developed from our biologies evolution is the only means of experiencing

analogous can be close enough. Maybe it won't be a replica, a simulaca will do just fine

this at best would behave like a philosophical zombie. Consciousness and sentience are probably substrate dependent and rely on organic matter.

if hypothetically our AI was already sentient. do you think we would know

Couldn't we liken our emotions to confabulated attractor states? That's where I get lost. I cannot for the life of me see how this would work better than a hooking activations and forcing the logits to process through a high fidelity density matrix or simulation of one?

This is not even biomimetic had long is a binary system will never be able to use neutral neurons

it seems like every time we develop an advanced technology we say this is how the brain works, I think it kind of started with books, then for a while the old journals referred to thinking as "fermentation" and now we're at the edge of technology again

A question is also how well the manufacturing can be scaled up and how miniaturized this can be.

so a long time ago somehow electricity and matter gets mashed up and it made brains. sometimes those brain make other brainslike out of stuff and put electric on it. then brains that made stuff and electric into brainlike stuff, use new brains from old brains to put stuff and brains and electric to make small new brain and stuff also hate being alive? is that what I am to understand?
