Just happened to me last week 5 minutes till closing. 1 server and I’m the only cook. It went smooth but I definitely worked my ass off. Clocked out 2 hours late lol

I use to work in a 375 seat brewery that would turn over 3-4 times a day. The size of the party did not matter to us.

I went to a friend’s event at a small pub. 15/20 of us trickled in at different times. When I showed up, I told the hostess that I was with xyz party AND THERE WAS NO RESERVATION. I had second hand embarrassment all night due to exactly what your video is saying

Oh absolutely! If a party like that walks in the first thing I always say is oh do we have a reservation so it kind of throws it back on them that, well maybe we should’ve called ahead. I had some gals walk in before we opened and tried to sit at my bar and I wasn’t set up because we were not open yet!
