So true, 7 years if you offered me a job to work with dogs especially with golden retrievers I would’ve said no (I wasn’t into dogs that much and I didn’t like golden retrievers at all) I got my first job in 2020 with golden retrievers wasn’t very happy about it and was gonna leave in 6 months but 6 months rolled around and I was like no I don’t want to quit the dogs grew on me I ended up working and volunteering there almost every weekend for another 2 and a half years and I regret ever leaving I miss all my golden retriever friends🥺

There’s a guy in NYC who each week takes a different shelter dog out for the day in a backpack on his back with a sign that says adopt me. I wish I could do that!
