The purple line is them, blue line is what I would’ve done and dark blue is another more car related race line. When they went around the second corner they turned to hard causing them to drift and lose traction aswell as time. If they took the light blue line they use more of the track and give a bit more room to turn so the tires don’t lose traction to keep speed. The dark blue line would be more of a line for cars trying to keep speed but it has the same concept of someone is taking the inside line that your trying to overtake
