As a border collie owner, unfortunately he’s not the one.. they’re already high energy, high needs. That pup screams attachment issues and separation anxiety leading to big problems later on. Pick the pup furtherest to the the back, not in your face is my advice.

It seems like there are a few options to choose from in that litter. The parents, although sitting down in the photos, appear to be normally proportionate. I would consider each dog’s individual personality and think about the traits of male and female dogs.

You don’t choose a pup it chooses you. Just be prepared for chaos and fun.. I have had Border Collies for over 25 years and they need to run A LOT. They are the most beautiful animals and will be your best friend for their entire life.. choose carefully. But he is very cute.
