😎 Last month I paid 170 euros, over 2025 was mostly the same, i believe is around 3:04 percent of my salary, BUTi can go have a open heart surgery, I can go have a brain surgery, 3 organ transplants, i can call the ambulance 10 times, I'm still next month I will pay 170. No co-pay, no nothing.

I heard if you dont have insurance, the hospital will bill you normal and reasonable prices sometimes way lower than with insurance. In the end it seems smarter to put the money in an ETF fond instead of paying insurance and when something happens, use this money. Best case you will never need it and it grows, worst case you will need it. But in both ways the money is not lost like in insuraces

im in gernany. my public health insurance gets 1300 bucks every month. thats whats called free in USA. so if 1300 the month is "free", how you expect 400 a month would oay your costs?

I am from europe, used to work with the clinics from us, as i was explaining them what is a copay, deductible etc… somebody asked me why should they pay if they have insurance, i told them i don’t know it doesn’t make sense bus that s US
