We're losing the plot. The monsters confirmed that they do in fact work when someone tried to use it like a crusafix, the monsters said that's not how it works proving the talisman works on any (closed places.)

Bro the collony house also had talisman and monsters enter cause the dude of the bathroom open the window. Exactly the same in episode 1 with the kid opening to the grandma.

When you go back to season 1 episode 1 when the little girl and the mom died there was a talisman but the little for opened the window hence them dying
