my bd shows up when he feels like it. idk a few months ago, he had some kind of family reunion, my daughter told me his cousin said “ i didnt know you had a daughter” she said “he actually has 2.” our daughters are 18 & 14.

She could read by the end of kindergarten & is always the top of her class…if he came along outta the blue tomorrow he would happily take all the credit with some bs like “i was exactly like that in school so its expected that she would be smart like me” 🙄🙄🙄

During the pandemic I walked 5 miles there and 5 miles back with my then 3 year old so he could see his dad for the first time in months. His dad didn't do it in return not once so I didn't do it again. Now he turns up every few weeks ... it's meant to be 2 hours a week as per his choice, but he's 'ill' for 2-3 weeks a month

A close friend’s ex admitted in court, WHILE FIGHTING FOR FULL CUSTODY, that he did not notice one of the kids had new glasses. So not only did mom make the optometrist appointment, take the child to get glasses, paid for the visit, dad did not notice the child had glasses and then argued he didn’t owe mom any reimbursement! Make it make sense. He’s such a good dad tho.

Girl.. I did so much being a father and still got cheated.. I constantly gave 1 on 1 attention to the kids.. I changed diapers, for the outfits ready and bathe the kids and soooo much more. You could not imagine. While My Ex sat on the balcony smoking bowls of weed and being on Tik tok.

I am married. When my husband takes th kids out for a daddy daughter lunch. He gets praised and smiled at. He is just doing his dad job! If I take them out no one praises me or offers to pick up the bill.

THIS!!! I’ve been a single mom for 2 years now and I couldn’t agree more. My son’s dad acts like he deserves an award for just showing up and being somewhat present when it’s convenient, yet can’t be bothered to actually parent. I show up everyday 24/7 for my son but that’s expected because I’m the mom. It’s honestly infuriating and I don’t understand why this is a thing in society

Yet their dad thinks he’s the best parent when he doesn’t do 10% of what I do daily. Like school in general and everyday things that keep them fed; bathed; clothed; educated and safe. I don’t know what to do when they aren’t around. I have 24/7 except when I’m working and when they go to school. So I’m always proud to be their mom.

This gets me some days my kids be so excited and happy when there dad shows up and he gets all those good interactions with them meanwhile I show up every day and I just get attitude and them acting like I don’t show up enough when I’m literally there all the time for them just hope they see the bigger picture when they grow up like such low standards for there dad him just showing up to a couple games of the season is amazing and me there every game and practice is not enough because I looked away for a moment idk teens years be rough starting for sure just try my best and hope they see that some day
