My coworkers would tell me not to bring anything but I still feel guilty if I don't so I still buy omiyage everytime I go anywhere 😂 It's so hard to bring those boxes home, I buy at least 3-4 boxes cos my workplace is big and has lots of people 😂

it's similar in Serbia 😅 it doesn't have to be after a vacation but if you go to someone's home you have to bring something, usually coffee (ground) of a box of cookies (every time not just once and once in a while if you see each other every day)

I like finding specific things for people. A friend always ended up eating the cookies from Kyoto before we took off to go home so had to raid the airports shops for her omiyage. 🤭 Everytrip.
