The Bible does not mention the creation of the water but that does not mean it was not created by God. The same thing we can agree that the Bible does not mention that God created the spiritual beings, the angels. Or the spiritual realm. But we can agree that God created them.

Exactly. And that is where the deeper mystery begins. Genesis does not actually start with absolute nothingness. It starts with conditions already existing: the deep, darkness, water, and a formless earth. meaning these things were already there, but has not been given forms. So the real question is not “Did God shape the world?” because the text clearly says He organized and separated things.(giving there form) The deeper question is: What were the raw materials already doing there before the ordering began? That is why some ancient traditions saw creation not as creation from absolute nothing, but as re-arranging what was already there. Even scientifically, we struggle with the same paradox. People ask, “What happened before the Big Bang?” but the concept of “before” itself breaks down because time as we know it may not have existed yet. So maybe Genesis is hinting at something humanity keeps running into over and over again: there may be realities more fundamental than matter itself — things like the deep, consciousness, vibration, water, or chaos — realities that even gods operate within rather than create. And that’s what makes the opening of Genesis so mysterious.
