This isn’t something I do every wash day because I don’t find it necessary & I want to avoid damage and breakage as much as possible. But on days when I have heavy buildup from testing out a new product, it’s a must! This helps to kind of reset my hair by ensuring that all of that buildup is fully removed so that my hair feels light, fresh, and healthy after washing again. If your ends are really damaged and feel dry easily, you could try using a shampoo that isn’t as deep cleaning as this one from Pantene instead. Whatever you use, just make sure to massage it into your hair as slowly & gently as possible to prevent breakage and always condition after. But the difference it makes is huge!
