yeah, my little 2013 hyundai burns oil, and I didn't know it, until my oil light came on. now I have to check my oil every few weeks lol

3000 miles? Change at your manufacturers recommended. I’m at 345k and my 17 outback 2.5 gets an oil change every 6,500 miles. It’s not needed to do it more often. You should be checking your oil level atleast twice between oil changes and topping it up if needed. But no you don’t need to change your oil every 3,000 miles 😂

I check mine every week, every Sunday. I can change my own, I just don't have a flat driveway or anyway to get it off the ground

Never felt more seen than when my mechanic complimented how clean my 2004 Camry is and how freezing cold my ac blasts 🥹 yeah she is 😁 I brought her here because lower control arms are scary to me and somethings stuck in my rear brake that probably was what blew my rear strut thats also leaking everywhere 👀

why would you even test drive the car before checking the oil? You could have blown the engine during the test with so low oil.

Question I do not drive enough to ever hit the mileage on my truck to when I need to get my oil changed it would take like four years for me to do it should I just get an oil change every year? Because that’s what I’m doing. I’m doing one every year.

also a draw back of the the vq35de is that while the motor is hot your not gonna get an accurate oil level.reading, you gotta let the motor get cold to.get an actual reading from the dipstick

we have the same car for my son. 118k miles. those things burn oil!! we have to add a quart a week..no leaks.

2011 Chevy Malibu for me. 169k miles, full synthetic 5w30. I change mine every 3-5k miles, average around 4k miles per oil change. Worth to keep up maintenance.
