Old houses are solid but come with their own issues.

Anyone that’s worked on new builds knows how bad they actually are and they only get worse as the years go on 😂

Old build you’ll deal with rewiring, likely roof needs a change, damp/mould due to no cavity wall, rotten timber floor, barely any dpc. Basically by the time you’re done with it, it’s a new build 😂

All that and a service charge more than the mortgage, for a strip of grass 2 ft across to get mowed once a month. 😂🤣😂

As a carpenter that builds new builds do not buy a new build even tho we get everything right and level they still not worth it we are rushed to build houses that we’ve built 5 houses in 2 months when back in 1900s they would spend 2 months on just 1 house to make sure it’s all perfect
