@moneystocker: A warning to Gen Z / Millennials: what is your exit plan? If you don't want to work till you're at least 70 after watching half your friends retire in their 40s and 50s, you need to act today. If you're like me, you're not going to inherit a £2,000,000 house. It's on YOU to secure your future. And you secure your future by the actions you take today. In 10-20 years, it might be too late. Because the state pension may not even exist by the time you get there (or you'll only get it after 70, and it may still be means tested). Because the old defined benefit/final salary pensions our parents had are going extinct. Because no one really understands how big the retirement crisis in this country will become, with an ageing population and two generations vastly undersaving for their future. Maybe you think investing is boring and pensions are dull. But future you doesn't. They're begging you to take it seriously. So suffer the pain of discipline, or suffer the pain of regret. #unitedkingdom #genz #millennials
