Reese Roper from Five Iron Frenzy wouldn’t sign autographs because it didn’t feel appropriate to put himself on a pedestal. He would happily take photos, but autographs were a step too far. He’s a super kind dude too. I absolutely see why you felt that way. It feels like a weird thing to do when you’re not the “important part” of the experience for people and it’s supposed to be about a higher power and a spiritual impact.

Like they weren’t your manager lol! You know the thing about church is often they just love to tell you what you do or how wrong you are unless you are literally sheep to their wishes. I grew up super psycho Christian & it was traumatic AF. They took the love out of love dude. And it’s too bad. Jesus isn’t a bad guy he just wanted people to get over themselves.
