@samarium: the oppressor holds no morals and yet has convinced u ur liberation would be immoral. u practice authority upon other women who are unburdened by the shackles of morality set by an immoral system. this authority doesn’t free u, it just makes u a mouthpiece of the patriarchy.
im lowk a swerf but not a terf bc trans women are women and you couldnt pay me enough to think otherwise

I have been called a terf bc I don’t believe that I need to clarify that I am a “cis” woman. I’m just a woman. I support trans rights 100% tho.

To those saying gender abolition is about erasing gender hierarchy: ya'll are just hypocrites who change up the meaning of gender abolition and how it's been harmful to others throughout history. Gender abolition does not have a concrete definition (if you dont just look at it from the a google overview); it is a very weak theory. Multiple ppl who theorize on it have somewhat different views but typically advocate for the complete iremoval of gender and gender categories.
An example of different theorists and their views:
Shulamith Firestone, The Dialectic of Sex (1970): Often cited as the first major work of gender abolition. Firestone argued that women’s oppression is rooted in biological reproductive differences. Her "revolutionary" solution was to use technology (like artificial wombs) to automate reproduction, thereby making the "sex distinction" culturally irrelevant.
Gayle Rubin, The Traffic in Women (1975): Rubin famously called for a "genderless (though not sexless) society" where a person's anatomy doesn't dictate their social role or who they love.
Monique Wittig, The Straight Mind (1992): A French materialist feminist who argued that "woman" and "man" are political and economic classes created by heterosexuality. She famously claimed that "Lesbians are not women" because they exist outside the "heterosexual contract." Her goal was the total annihilation of gender categories.
Not to mention how its is completely utopic since gender and the hierarchy behind it is not material and all liberation stems from material conditions. Removing gender roles as a WHOLE is close to impossible.
To add on, what i mean by being more open with gender, is for people to express themselves in the way they would like and lable themselves in the ways they want not post genderism. Marx feminism is the answer.
