I’ll never forget back in 2006. As surface Temps were in the mid 30s (very cold), seeing elevated convection cumulonimbus clouds, and my mom telling how it looks like it’s going to snow, or storm, as if thunderstorm with very cold rain to thundersnow.

as a glider pilot we love the fast vertical development, but the downdrafts can be equally crazy 🙂 given the late development of the El nino will we have a warmer wetter winter?
