@gabriel.nussbaum: The student loan system feels broken right now… so I was going to ask the PM this 👇 Last time I spoke to @Keir Starmer, he said young people are being let down and that more could be done But since then… Interest capped at 6% sounds like a win But the repayment threshold is still frozen so as salaries go up more of your income gets pulled into repayments And now there’s new research suggesting something even bigger That the system could actually make money from graduates not just cover the cost of education So when you put that all together It feels like things are improving on the surface but underneath people are still paying more over time So the question I wanted to ask was: is there still more that needs to be done?
