Anyone saying Oasis are overrated are simply wrong . They’re not even my favourite band but you have to recognise their impact on music and the huge back catalog they have , culturally they’re one of the biggest bands of all time this country

90s was just insanely stacked: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Sound Garden, Radio Head, Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against the Machine, Green Day, Oasis, Sublime, Blink 182, Third Eye Blind, Weezer. I don’t think we’ll ever see such a concentration of band talent in a single decade again.

Oasis may not be the most "technical" band, but they were the first band I fell in love with and will always be my first love. So many songs that are important to me and make up the soundtrack of my life. Some Might Say, their first number 1, was on my 16th birthday. The Masterplan is still my favourite song ever written, god I love those lyrics, and that build to a crescendo - it will always be my forever song. Wonderwall is the song of my youth, every pub you walked into... you could guarantee it would be on the jukebox within half an hour. And Talk Tonight was the first song I learned to play on guitar. I will never not love Oasis.
