Melanie, I deeply admire your work, your artistry, and the person you present yourself to be. But I need to be honest: we, fans from Latin America, have been overlooked for years. In Brazil, for example, your only performances have taken place at festivals, such as Lollapalooza Brazil, a large, expensive event that is inaccessible to many fans. To this day, there has been no dedicated tour of yours in the region, something that is common in other continents. This is not just a personal feeling, it’s a pattern. Festival circuits limit access by concentrating artists into a few dates and cities, while other regions receive full tours, with multiple stops and real opportunities to attend. You have always spoken about inclusion, diversity, and connection with your fans. Because of that, this absence in Latin America ends up feeling contradictory. There is a real audience here, people who grew up listening to your music, who follow every release, who connect with your messages, and who, to this day, have never had a fair opportunity to see you live at a proper solo show. This is not about dismissing what has already been done, nor ignoring the possible limitations of the industry. We understand there are factors like logistics, production, and team decisions. But at the same time, we also see other international artists consistently including Latin America in their tours. So it’s hard not to question it.
