I never really care much for bike lights because the night aint ever dark enough to make bikers invisible. I ride occasionally at night, street lights have always been enough to provide visibility. I also drive and have seen bikers at night, with and without light, never found it necessary to use one myself and I do have them. Personally a waste of money unless your town/city is notoriously pitch black at night.
