It’s the cost! Generational Bergen county resident here. I don’t know who could justify $2000+ monthly for a basic tiny apartment often with little to no parking or yard use

I raise six kids in north west Bergen county. I’ve been here my entire adult life. Traveled and lived many places before settling where I’m at. And besides the cost of living sucking every penny from everybody😂. Honestly love everything about it! It’s home to my wife and all 6 kids now with 6 grandkids. 🥰

I grew up in North Jersey and I hated it at the time. I just thought it was so ugly and I was too young to take advantage of NYC nightlife so I didn't appreciate how nearby it was. Now I live in Somerset County, and it is prettier I guess but damn is it BORING! I didn't appreciate what I had in North Jersey. Now I kinda want to go back, but I can't afford it 😢
