When did they start teaching that "all" is implied even when "all" isn't stated? Because I was taught the opposite in first grade but based on the comments sections, people think you always mean "all" unless you say, "not all".

So in real life situations I am horrible at context clues and reading the situation and being able to understand what is going on in the dynamic around me however when I’m reading I got it so much I have learned everything I have learned about socialising through reading because I still can’t pick it up I can’t see you with my eyes. Everything but when I’m reading a story it all makes so much more sense. This probably made no sense.

I just did a job interview in Houston, Texas and one of the parts of the assessment was reading comprehension and there were seven different paragraphs that you had to read and they were minimum three questions for each paragraph. Reading for fun is great, but you also need to read to be able to comprehend and apply what you just learned.
