Never understood the Federal Reserve hate. It’s like the one apolitical govt institution. Like more than the Supreme Court and that’s supposed to be entirely apolitical. Regardless of the political leaning of the fed members they all make decisions based on data. It’s the one thing that you can trace every decision for back to hard economic data.

What about the idea that there's evidence the Titanic had a boiler fire prior to the voyage that wasn't properly repaired. The iceberg in this theory hit the same poorly-fixed spot and caused it to sink quicker than it could've. Pair that with this theory, it's pretty interesting. No matter what, Titanic is a tragic and fascinating piece of history I've always been drawn to - even if I'm terrified of the ocean AND have submechaphobia 😅
