@goliathliftzz: The Super Squats system became one of the most extreme bulking programs in bodybuilding history. Created and popularized by Randall J. Strossen, it was built on a simple idea: Most lifters stop before real growth begins. The method was brutal: Take a weight you can normally squat for 10 reps, but force it to 20. After rep 10, the set changes. You stay under the bar, taking deep breaths between every rep, while your legs and lungs start to give out. The system combined this with heavy progression and aggressive eating — often including GOMAD (a gallon of milk a day). And the claim that made it legendary: 30 lbs of muscle in 6 weeks. Some lifters swear it works, others say the weight gained isn’t pure muscle. The debate has never really ended. #supersquats #breathingsquats #trainhardorgohome #getstrong #goliathliftzz
force your 10 rep max to 20 doesnt make much sense. I mean you can always push yourself, but you simply cant just add 10 reps to your normal limit.

That system of 20 squats was created in the 1930's. The misinformation is amazing on TikTok

The odds of gaining mass are greater with lower body movements vs upper body. It is just kids are obsessed with looking lean in a tank top vs looking like a tank.

The book was written in the late 80’s but the program was used in the 20’s and 30’s…when food was real and milk was whole. Not gonna lie…it was brutal. It’s as much mental as it is physical. By way of comparison I found the Smolov Squat program “easier”…at least mentally. Both are brutal…and you need to have your diet and rest dialed in hardcore or you will fail.
