I searched for 2 years for the right size home before buys so that I could get a house to make a home for the long haul. 15+ years . I hate the idea of moving every few years or updating a home with reselling in mind . I want to set roots a hope to be mortgage free one day !

This! And my current home is probably bigger than what I’d want my so called “forever” home to be. I’m just over always having to upgrade or live beyond people’s means. Only reason we haven’t moved. I’m not going to double my mortgage with today’s rates.

Me and my husband bought our first and forever home is 980 square foot with half and acre and I love it. We did close on a 7.01 interest rate but I am happy we have a home. We get to go to Disney in May and don’t feel stress about it is just me and my husband and my only child.
