@thebreastchapter: Yesterday, I rang the bell… and closed the hardest chapter of my life.🔔 16 rounds. 5 months. Countless emotions. And I was surrounded by the most incredible love…my family, my friends, and the nurses who carried me through every single step. I held it together all day…until I saw everyone start walking in to be there for me. Before I even made it to the bell, I completely lost it. Tears, gratitude, disbelief…all of it at once. It was the most unreal, overwhelming, beautiful moment. This chapter is DONE. And it feels like the biggest weight lifted off my shoulders. I still have surgery, radiation, reconstruction, and endocrine therapy ahead…but this was the hardest part. And I did it. I rang the bell a second time…for the women/men who didn’t get the chance to. For those whose infusion centers didn’t have a bell, and for those who never made it to this moment. That one was for you. 🩷 I have never felt more loved, more supported, or more grateful in my life.
