As someone who works for child welfare I can promise you we are doing our best. Most workers end up spending 45-55 hours a week working to keep children safe.

I have this jar in glass. I use it for change too. But whenever I get paid, I pull cash out it. Then I use cash for smaller purchases. Then the change from that I put in the jar.

Banks (some) offer a round it up savings account. It’s collecting your change since no one uses cash anymore.
