First 10 or so seconds are pure speculation. Davey Jones was his harshest enemy, needing him to team up with his FRIEND Joyboy. More speculation here. Imu signed a contract for a DEVIL fruit, The 1st Fruit. Domination consumed him, leading to a battle between Dommination and Libberation. Also i belive Joyboy had the Niddhogg fruit not Nika.

as Saturn said they cant let luffy know who he truly is thats why they changed the name to the gomu gomu nomi hoping that it would never become awakened i mean 1000's of pirates die on the grandline all the time letting him go and possibly be killed on the grandline was probably a solid bet. removing luffys plot armor ofc. BB being part of WG means he's close to imu means imu can control him and with the power imus been shown to have imu wouldn't sweat BB. as for nidhogg they didn't know where that fruit ended up
