Mam I got a stem major in computer engineering, I have never thought I would be making 100K right out of college, My first thought was start from the bottom and build myself up, The problem is no one wants to give you an opportunity if you don’t have 5 years of experience , They’re disguising mid/senior level jobs as entry level. They post as “entry level” and then when you read they say “you need a bachelors degree and 3 years of experience” That’s a mid level not a entry level, they’re tricking people to pay less for jobs that should be paying mid/senior level salary. Right now I’m job hunting in the market and it’s the worst. Apply to more than 5 jobs a day and never get a single call or response, some at least have the decency to say “sorry but we won’t be considering your application for further consideration” at least that’s a rejection, but some don’t even bother

its absolutely a job markey problem. with access to the world market there are far more applications then jobs which is why companies raise the min education standards. the reality is people are more educated and qualified then ever before.

it’s simple pick a engineer, doctor, lawyer or accounting (this is now borderline not an option anymore because of AI) trades are also a wonderful option for quick easy licensing and schooling
