Please can we not refer to her as a character and dehumanise her. She is a real person and a real victim, she is not playing a character. Referring to her as a character implying she is playing a part completely takes away from her as a person. She is a human who took part in a documentary that portrayed her life and her trauma.

I almost wonder if, because she's such a strong minded person, Nomz had to really work to make herself believe. She had to stay close to him all the time and not allow any dissent, bc she knew once she had room to ask one question, the whole thing would come crashing down.
