In a society where it’s difficult to have a living wage on a single job, it’s crazy to fire someone for having another just to live.

I ran a business and had a full time job. You need different income streams. They don't own you.

It’s none of their business unless it is a competing company and it doesn’t interfere with time and productivity. Anything outside of that is overstepping in people’s personal lives.

this usually only happens in higher tier jobs like corporate roles or other professions where the employees are on a salary . If you work at Walmart full time and have a 2nd part time job they will not give a care in the world as long as the schedules don’t overlap .

had a boss who kept saying they'll offer more hours to me. only for it to be an hour or two more. which still wasn't enough. much better to have my second job because it was weekly and no bi weekly. so it help me up on now pay weeks from my full time while the second was part time..instead of respecting that, choose to make me uncomfortable af. the companies are two different types of work. so no need to fire me

My son is a city planner, he cannot work any other job without city approval. I think it’s a conflict of interest clause.

it's none of an employers business if you have two jobs. At will states are a joke. Should have to have a good reason
