The second that person said that a tow truck showed up before the cops did, I knew exactly what happened. I'm so glad my Gran and dad taught me how to handle things like that to avoid situations like this! Thank you for giving that person that knowledge, it's SO important!

I had an accident and I called AAA to come get my car and a random tow truck showed up and said they could "tow it" and I declined, they kept pushing and I kept declining. AAA was very kind and helpful.

So the tow yard on the phone with your adjuster was trying to accomplish what, exactly? Wouldn’t the tow yard just claim that they never had the car if they were crooked? The tow yard is culpable in any case, I just don’t know why they were even calling. Maybe I’m naive.
