@tawnyplatis: Maddy’s (Alexa Demie) voice is very different from every other character’s in the show Euphoria but do you know why? (Tomorrow: Sydney Sweeney’s Cassie 👀) also interesting to note is that Alexa was born in 1990 which makes her a millennial Maddy is the exception that proves every rule in this show. She has a flat and dry delivery with impeccable comedic timing. She has a confident chest-placed resonance and unhurried pace that she pairs with an inflection that conveys her disdain as opposed to volume. In other words, she doesn’t have to get loud to destroy you, she just chooses a single syllable at the right pitch to accomplish that. She has very committed onsets with full vowels and her register is something that I would call unapologetic. Like this is someone who decided very early on in life that she would not be anything but who she is and is the only girl on the show who seems to have full ownership and habitation of her voice. #voiceacting #voiceactor #euphoria #tv #millennial
