@fragil3gg: I think more people expect the lifestyle of a homeless drug addict to be exciting or that you're always living on the edge and crazy things are happening all day, every day. most of the time it's just figuring out new ways to get money for more drugs. and I'm sure a lot of people hear that and assume that these things must all include some really shady stuff happening, because that's what drug addicts do, right? they'll stab your mom and sell her organs to someone in Mexico, then they'll kidnap your baby to sell on the dark web. things I NEVER did to get money: • steal from strangers • steal from people I knew • steal from "mom n' pop" stores + all small businesses • anything s*xual • fuck over anybody in any way things I did do to get money: • the store credit scam mentioned in this video • sold literally everything I owned besides my soul, a few books, some stuffed animals and several items of clothing • ask everyone I knew if I could borrow $20-50, but would happily take less or more • flew a sign that said "anything helps, thank you" • be a chauffeur for my favourite dealer whenever he would let me (this didn't get me money for drugs, he just paid me with drugs 🤣) • any sort of little scam here or there that I could come up with, most of them even lesser than the one described in this video the only places I stole from were big corporations like Target, Safeway and Home Depot (and I mean, as you can hear in this story, the company always technically got the items back... they would just be at a different store. 😅) I thought it was funny when some dude on here told me that it's because of people like me that everything costs so much money now. yep. the $80 in store credit that I would get every once in a while over a decade ago is definitely why gas prices have skyrocketed lately. and the price of groceries. and y'know, why don't we just blame the lack of affordable healthcare on me, too. and global warming. maybe my farts have been what's destroying the planet. my bad. 😓 #addiction #homeless #sober #recovery #fyp
