I think it looks good but i coach baseball and i can’t cut it low enough for a ball to roll smooth and fast. If it to low the ball gets jumpy and if it’s to high it doesn’t roll at all. It’s perfect for non athletic uses just because it grows so naturally

It grows, course and very light green. I would only use it as a basic ground cover. Perfect for the side of highways no doubt.

Need to use more seed as it does not spread like most bluegrass

It sucked when the drought came. It was a shiny tall graas but never again. It is dry brown sticks.

My wife and I ripped out our side yard that was covered with ivy. We tilled the soil and put down Kentucky 31. It came in super nice with little to no weeds. It looked so good that my neighbors wanted to know what I used. Garden center told me to just get it damp and to not over water it. Garden center said over watering it will kill it and it won’t germinate. It’s like a popcorn kernel. It just needs enough water to “pop”. Then it starts to grow.

I raked first
31 down with hay on top
water for 10 hours
and then it rained for 3 days straight (which I knew it was coming)
looks like I got around 75% take rate on areas I put the seed down
