Whilst I think this can be so, I do think he has some self-awareness that can be built upon. For example when Dicle ran away and ended up on the Ferry he followed her but kept a respectful distance therefore ensuring her safety but allowing her to make her own choices. I also felt that when she was stuck with the reading in episode nine he supported and encouraged her to be able to do it for herself and was then just proud of her achievements.

Eu DISCORDO TOTALMENTE! Erkan não limita e nem tole Dicle! Ele sempre quis que ela fosse independente, que ela estudasse , que ela fosse uma mulher livre! Ela a ama por quem ela é ( o amor dele tem muitas camadas " inocente, cegon, profundo e avassalador)! Ele nunca sentiu esse tipo de amor e , por isso tem dificuldade em espressá-lo em palavras! Dicle é inocente mas não é burra. Ela é teimosa e assim como Erkan em alguns momentos, inconsequente. As cenas em que ele cuida dela são lindas , cuidadosas e , delicadas! NADA TEM DE TÓXICO OU CONTROLADOR! Dicle não quer ficar longe dele ( como ela mesma disse , ela quer ficar longe da mansão)! O roteiro da série tem pecado em mantê-la em looping e isso NADA TEM A VER COM ERKAN! A série é um drama romântico. É sobre um amor de dois jovens de mundos completamente diferentes , cujo o destino se encontra em meio ao caos! Quanto mais o sentimento cresce e , mais forte é a conexão entre eles , mas o "mundo " ( principalmente segredos enterrados e artimanhas familiares) tenta separá-los..A série é sobre esse amor que simplesmente se RECUSA A DESAPARECER!

Finally someone get it ,Showing dicle trying to run away is another way to let her grow and depend on herself ,if she always by erken she never can stand up for herself since knows that erken will be there for her ,But by being away of him she can become stronger and handle the situations by herself ,But people since love them together only wants to see them cling to each other

but erkan has suffered so much since his childhood, not getting enough attention and love from his parents, siblings, when he met dicle he might felt he has found his soulmate. everyone in the series is behind him burçin, his brother who's erkan's biggest hater, his father, his mother who always bringing up problem over problem for him IMO maybe he's protecting her not from just the world but from his family too. I admit he's being EXTRA PROTECIVE but they both need to change themselves if they both want eachother's peace and safety. erkan's character is so pure dicle's too but she's so innocent, innocent enough to understand erkan and his protective side for her. but we love DICLE × ERKAN.

Claro que sim. Ele apoia ela em tudo o tempo todo, fica orgulhoso por cada conquista dela, comemora por cada coisa que ela aprende e ainda protege ela contra tudo e todos. Ele é maravilhoso❤️Todos nós sabemos que ele ama ela sem ele precisar verbalizar, só com as ações dele.

😅Tenho que discordar da sua análise,o Erkan é o maior incentivador e protetor da Dicle ,inclusive ele faz promessas para ela no sentido de crescimento cultural e profissional . Ele acredita nela o tempo todo (até na hora da primeira leitura dela 🥰).
