@angelawakened: I massage my scalp, neck and shoulders. Regularly. Intentionally. This benefits not just my hair but my entire nervous system. I use oils. Don’t come for me because this is not traditional scalp oiling. It’s what I do. I use a mixed carrier, usually a combination of jojoba, argon, castor and coconut. For essence, rosemary, and peppermint and ALWAYS a few drops of frankincense. Thousands of years of anointing and protection do not lie. All of it goes into an amber bottle. This is a 30 second video but I take my time. I use my fingers, and my jade comb to work it through the scalp in small circles. I make sure to get my neck and shoulders because that is where most of us are quietly falling apart and pretending we’re fine and your homegirl is no different. At the base of the skull there is a point called GV 16. Where the head meets the neck. I anoint it. And massage gently. Look it up if you want to go deeper.
