I have a very similar scenario in the LA area where rent is 3500 on 3.1% mortgage , monthly bill is about 4.5k but my wife and I and our two young kids live in the granny suite upstairs. I still see it as a win

Why is the rent so low. Is it a single family home? If not it’s protected by tenant protection laws so you can’t evict just because you’re selling. Doesn’t make sense to have negative cash flow.
