@aeriscarter: Claire is certainly the tech-savvy one in the family as the college graduate and the younger sibling. 💻 I’m wearing her outfit from Mercenaries 3D and Minna to BIOHAZARD Clan Master here. Don’t get me wrong; I thoroughly enjoyed playing Resident Evil 5, 🎮 but as someone who just completed the coursework for her Anthropology and Archaeology Master’s degree, 🏛️ I can’t help but to think of artifact repatriation and ethical stewardship every time Chris and Sheva snatch another piece of jewelry. ⚱️ Capcom does address the role of Umbrella as a colonizer in Africa and the damage it has wrought in many forms, including cultural appropriation and theft of cultural heritage sites such as where the Stairway to the Sun flower grows via in-game documents, 🌻 but Chris is still stealing from these same communities in order to stock up on necessities when the BSAA has not properly outfitted him for the mission. 🧳 I do like that, in order to avoid a looting / treasure collecting mechanic and its potentially problematic implications, Capcom has pivoted to instead present the BSAA tactical tracker point system we see in Resident Evil Requiem, where your performance determines the points you accrue to upgrade and acquire new weapons. #ResidentEvil #ResidentEvil5 #ResidentEvilcosplay #ResidentEvilRequiem #ClaireRedfield
