We lost our huge weeping willow we planted when we moved in. Our children and dogs loved that tree. All our family photos were there. I bawled like a baby 😢. Here it is in its prime!

My Dad built a commercial construction empire and he always told me the part of his job he hated the most was clearing land and cutting trees. His goal before he died was to plant 3 for every 1 he had to take down. He accomplished his goal and then some. Every year, in his honor, we plant more trees at our family farm. It's magnificent. I hope it continues for generations to come 🥺❤️.

When my daughter was about 5, she had a fav tree on our walk past a retirement home. They cut it down and she sobbed for days. We’d walk past and she’d just sit on the stump. 10 yrs later when we drive by, I still hear her say “Remember my tree, Mom?” Yes baby, I’ll never forget your tree.

my parents cut down this big old tree in our front yard. It really stings cause I used to talk to it and tell it how humans weren't always kind to nature. I didnt know they were doing it and sobbed so hard when I saw it. It still hurts my heart to think about . It was beautiful.
