I HAVE health insurance. One monthly script is $117 co-pay. But, if I pay "cash price" (not run it through my insurance) I can get it for $56. Make that make sense.

The pharmacy runs one of my dad’s meds without insurance because with insurance his cost is $84 and without insurance & with their prescription savings program, it’s $10. That is ridiculous & should not be necessary in the US.

Yessss, this, I agree. Even WITH private ins tho- Also pls note insurance companies deciding who gets what medications is not acceptable as well, now that I am covered - I have medications I still have to pay for in whole or not get at ALL because they deny what the Dr prescribes!
