Medo was once a logging elephant, forced to endure a life of hard labor, pain, and psychological struggle. Her suffering finally came to an end the day she was rescued and freed from that miserable existence. Today, as the rain fell, Medo embraced it — rolling blissfully in the mud before walking over to rub herself against a pole. She then picked up a small stick with her trunk to scratch those hard-to-reach spots, conveying a look of pure contentment. May Medo’s story be a source of hope for anyone feeling discouraged. No matter how much pain we’ve endured, we can always rise again. Medo is a living example of resilience and strength.
